Our clients have special medical needs and we aim to provide the best care possible for ultimate comfort throughout their medical transfer. Our services include long distance transportation through the contiguous United States.  Our long distance transportation enables those who are disabled, elderly, handicap or in need of medical equipment and personal or medical care to travel to their destination.


Throughout your 500 or more mile medical trip, we offer you the standard of excellence. With our experienced medical personnel on board you don’t have to worry about medical attention such as continued medication, dressing changing, tube feeding, COPD care, wheelchair / hospital bed transportation.


Our drivers are CDL licensed and trained specifically to cater to our clients and their delicate needs. Our service is bedside-to-bedside, so you can relax during your needed travels.

Every transport offers you two drivers to ensure 24-hour travel securing your destination in a timely manner. A family member or friend may also accompany you on our Bluebird Wonderlodge at no additional cost. You will be comforted by our trustworthy and courteous staff, which will provide one to one care; our personal care personnel includes LPNs, EMTs or RNs. Traveling with National Medical is not only safe and efficient but it is also more affordable than medical air transport. We understand the difficulties of transferring long distances, so we offer you the option of bringing a small pet (please see FAQs for details).

National Medical Transport offers you bedside-to-bedside service. This means that our professional and caring medical personnel will be with you (the client) from the time we pick you up at the discharging facility, during your long distance medical transportation, and will be with you until your arrival at the receiving facility, your new home or your family’s home. Although many companies do not provide this service, we at National Medical Transport feel that bedside-to-bedside service is very important. We strive to make every medical transport a comforting, stress-free and easy experience for our patient. We provide this service on every trip. We believe it creates and allows our medical personnel to maintain continuity in care and also insures that a detailed medical report is given to the receiving medical facility or family member upon arrival.

Bedside-to-bedside service means the highest quality in care for you or your loved one. It means that you will have a personal and professional member of National Medical Transport by your side during medical ground transportation.
